The Great Commission

Mar 16:15

And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.”

Mat 28:19-20

Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

Jesus commanded us to share the good news and to make disciples. If we obey it is possible to reach all the world with the gospel. The church is a work team.

Joh 17:18, 20

(the prayer of Jesus) As thou hast sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world. Joh 17:20 Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word;

The Gospel is Good News

Rom 2:4

Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance?

Mat 25:41,46

Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels… And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.

The word “gospel” means “good news.” Hell is a real place and Jesus is the only one that can save us from the eternal flames of fire. Yet we should not scare the people. It is better to testify about the goodness and love of God.

Joh 3:16-17

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

1Co 15:3-4

For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

Invite People to Church

Rom 10:13-15

For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!

The easiest way to win people is to invite them to the church. This is the work of the members. In the church they can hear the Word and receive salvation.

Win People by the Example of Your Life

2Co 3:2

Ye are our epistle written in our hearts, known and read of all men:

1Pe 3:1, 15

Likewise, ye wives, be in subjection to your own husbands; that, if any obey not the word, they also may without the word be won by the conversation of the wives… But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:

If we enjoy life with God, the people around us will be impacted of our example. Many times, it is easier to win our own family by simply answering their questions. We can also ask God to send other people that can testify to them.

Luk 10:2

Therefore said he unto them, The harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth labourers into his harvest.

The Path of Romans

The best is to teach every believer how to show the plan of salvation in the Bible and pray with the once who wants to get saved. There is a group of verses that has been called “The path of Romans” and it shows us the plan of salvation in a very simple way.

Rom 3:23

For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

Rom 6:23

For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

All of us need to receive salvation because all have failed God. The consequence of sin is eternal death, but God gives life to all that believe and confess Jesus as Lord.

Rom 10:9-10

That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

Train Every believer to Win Others for Christ

Rom 1:16

For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

2Co 5:18

And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;

It is of importance that each one of us accept our responsibility in the great work of God. If all of us will win the people that we know, we can reach a lot of people in a short time. Multiplication takes place when the people we reach are trained to reach others. At the same time, it is the best way to care for the new believers.

The new believers probably have family and friends that are not Christians. Pray for these, invite them to the church or better still present the gospel and pray with them to get saved.
