FAITH

But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.

So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us: And if we know that he hears us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.

Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.

And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.

We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak;

And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God. For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.

That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.

For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise.

(Abraham) He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God; And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform.

Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works... For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.

Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him. To live by faith” means to “use our faith” in our life. That means to get up by faith in the morning, get dressed by faith, eat by faith, leave the house by faith, work by faith and finally go back to sleep by faith at night.
